Spirulina Pesto for Pasta Salad


1½ cups chopped fresh basil
3 tbsp pine nuts
3 garlic cloves
½ cup Virgin olive oil
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp VieSun Spirulina powder
Ground pepper to taste


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor except the olive oil.
  2. Blend and SLOWLY add olive oil until consistency is smooth.
  3. Serve as a pasta sauce, pasta salad, or as a spread.
