To make coffee ice cubes: brew one cup of coffee any way you like. Let it cool and pour into an ice cube tray. When the coffee is frozen store the ice cubes in a glass container in your freezer. Use decaf or a coffee substitute if you would prefer the smoothie without caffeine.
Ingredients½ cup steamed then frozen sweet potato
½ cup milk of choice
4 –5 coffee ice cubes*
2 tbsp cacao powder
1.5 tbsp Udo’s Oil
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp hemp hearts
3 pitted dates
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: 1 scoop protein powder
InstructionsAdd all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high. Serve immediately!
