Suggested Use for Udo's Oil® DHA 3•6•9 Blend
The cloudy layer in the oil is unique to this blend. To obtain its benefits, shake bottle gently before each use. Take 1 tbsp. or more a day with meals (up to 1 tbsp. per 50 lb. of body weight per day). For best results, substitute other sources of dietary fat with Udo's Oil®.

I ordered the oil with 2 day delivery which somehow was changed to a regular on the site. My efforts to expedite the shipment were in vain. I left the US before the shipment arrived…

Good Product But Overpriced

The 17 oz. Udo's Oil:tm: DHA 3•6•9 Blend is great for my wife's eyes, but the cost is way too high. You need to lower the cost to get more customers and keep those you have.

We are happy that the product we are making is great for your wife's eyes. We regret that the cost feels too high.

At this time, the cost is as low as we can bear without changing the quality of the oil or it's production. We feel it would be worse to make a lower priced oil that wasn't as health-supportive. That would be an all-around waste.

We value our customers and their health and strive to lower costs when we can do so. Our costs went up during the pandemic, but we found a way to lower the prices on the Udo's oil line, including the DHA oil, earlier this year.

When we find a way to do so again, we will!

Udo's Oil DHA 3•6•9 Blend

Udo's Oil:tm: DHA 3•6•9 Blend has been prescribed by my wife's ophthalmologist for her daily use. She uses it on her supper salad every night that we are home. She has not had an eye checkup since starting this product, so we cannot say anything about improvement in her eye health. Be sure your product includes "DHA" in its title for appropriate benefit.

The DHA product is way overpriced. It used to be reasonably priced, but Flora keeps raising the price. It's a good product, but it's got to be affordable, too.

Disappointing

Very disappointing to see that this oil was shipped with no ice when the weather is very hot this will affect the oil and just the shipping along took at least 10 days so I'm not sure why they're selling this oil and not charge extra so the oil is refrigerated or kept cold.

I checked on your order and the shipping took 1 week, which is a little longer than average but still within expected shipping periods. We have done stability studies on Udo's Oil that show quality and potency is unaffected by summer temperatures during a shipping period like this. So please rest assured the oil is still perfectly viable to use and stable enough to withstand a week of not being refrigerated.

Excellent Quality Omega Fatty Acid Oil

What are the health/nutritional benefits of taking this oil versus the high-Lignan version? Meaning is there any health benefits to one over the other or is it just a taste difference?

Will the flax oil spoil during shipping in the hot summer months? I live in Florida.

No, it won't. We've done stability studies on our Flax Oil and other cooler items and even during summer temperatures there is no loss in quality or potency for typical shipping periods (ie. up to a week).
