Only fruit sugars | Plant-based
I used to make “nice” cream daily, but I would only add bananas and other sources of sugar. Ever since I began adding cashews and a healthy oil I’ve really noticed a difference in my energy! Balance out your dessert with healthy fats and protein with this Strawberry Flax Nice Cream.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen banana
- 1/2 cup soaked cashews (soaked 4-6 hours)
- 1/4 cup Flora Flax Oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Liquid if needed (about 2-4 tbsp)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed. Add liquid 1 tbsp at a time if needed. Blend until smooth.
Notes
Cashews can be substituted with hemp hearts,which wouldn’t need to be soaked.
