It works!

Our daughter has had issues going #2 since she was 6 months old, we tried all sorts of stuff and nothing helped. Finally when she was 5 we found Flora kid’s probiotic it has worked wonders!! She has been regular and no more large painful stool.

If received bottle of probiotic stayed out of refrigerator for more than 20 days in summer time ( but not opened), does it mean that the capsules lost their effectiveness?

Hi Konul,

The probiotic would meet all potency expectations after one week at warm temp, then we would start counting losses of 1% per day if it remained at a warm temp. So, we would expect it to be something like 14% less potent than typical. If it then gets put somewhere cold, it will go back to the normal rate of die off. You can safely use it, and it will confer the same benefits, it will just start with a little less power than the same bottle if it was not left out.

We are traveling on a plane and want to be able to pack these for our trip. They are currently refrigerated. Can i pack them to take with us if they wont be refrigerated for 9-10hrs?

Hi Erica,
Yes, it's ok for our probiotics to be unrefrigerated for short periods. They only lose about 1% of their potency each day at room temperature.
