· Much improved recuperation from practice. No sore legs the day after, even after hard training sessions.
· Legs don't start to hurt while biking. Even on the long rides.
· Rides between 80 and 100 km a day as opposed to 50 to 60 before starting on the oil. The result of having improved stamina, so that he can go longer before getting tired.
· Used to be troubled by anal fissures as the result of spending too much time in the saddle. At a point, they even required surgery. Vastly improved by the oil, so that he now has no symptoms.
· Bothered by continuous sitting sores, which never heal completely. The oil seems to help, so that they heal quicker and actually disappear completely from time to time (after 8 weeks).
· Used to suffer from "creaky" joints, which disappeared after using the oil. Reappeared during a short break from the oil due to illness and queasiness.
· Eats less. No need to eat candy during the day for a quick energy fix.
· Weighed approximately 2.5 kg less in early January than usual for that time of the year - 80 kg as opposed to 82.5 kg.

· Improved energy-levels, stamina, endurance, and recuperation in relation to his biking. The improvements in energy-levels, stamina, and endurance are most obvious when he is doing the harder training sessions. Particularly when he does intervals. He can go on for longer, at a higher intensity, and it takes longer before he starts feeling tired (even if he can then go on performing with the same output after getting to this point). The improved recuperation after exercise is better overall, not just after the harder training sessions. His muscles do not hurt as much as usual immediately after training and it takes less time before he feels all rested and recovered. This resulted in him having an easier time stretching his muscles after training sessions: It is easier doing the stretches when his muscles aren't as stiff and sore as "usual".
· His skin is in better condition. It does not dry out as easily and he doesn't have to use as much lotion as before entering the trial. It feels as if his skin is better oiled, but not that it is greasy in any way.
· The above mentioned effects occurred after he got on to the highest dosage.
· His need for sleep increased during the trial, but that might also be a result of the weather. It was winter and there was very little sun - the weather was dark and cloudy - whilst he was participating in the trial.

· Improvements in joints. Ankles, hips, and his left shoulder in particular used to be sore and aching in cold weather. But he had none of those aches or pains despite several periods of sub-zero temperatures whilst participating in the trial. On a very cold day, he was able to shovel all the snow away from his drive way. Something his left shoulder would normally have prevented him from doing, because it would be very tender in such cold weather.
· Faster recuperation from physical exercise and after strenuous work days. He wouldn't feel tired after physical work outs, and one day he was working from 6 am to 20 PM and still felt all recuperated next morning after 8 hours of sleep, which did surprise him. Before entering the trial, he such a working day would have left him exhausted.
· Felt very warm right after ingesting dosages of the oil. His face and cheeks would feel almost burning.
· Did not quite follow the protocol. He went on vacation for 1 week in the first part of the trial, where he did not take the oil according to the protocol and his daughter gave birth to a girl right before the first interview (after 4 weeks). In the days leading up to and after the birth, he did not take the oil regularly either, nor quite follow his recommended diet for dealing with diabetes.

· Improved energy-levels over the first few weeks of the trial. However, she had been sick for a whole week beginning the day before entering the trial. So this improvement might be the result of getting well again as opposed to supplementation with the oil.
· Did experience GI unrest during the first couple of weeks of the trial, but that was also during a period when she did not eat "as usual". So it is hard for her to ascertain whether it was the oil or the temporarily changed dietary habits. However, this problem disappeared after a few weeks into the trial.
· Had a temporary worsening of eczema and hay fever symptoms, but that went back to normal after 10 days on the oil or so.
· Sleeps much deeper and feels that she needs more sleep (9-10 hours as opposed to 7-8 hours). This also started changing after the first few weeks on the oil, going back towards normal.

· Felt slightly improved recovery and endurance in the first weeks of the trial. Also, had no problems with sore joints or aching tendons after training sessions, which he found surprising considering how much he trains and stresses his joints, especially his knees. He would usually be sore and aching in the morning, but that was not an issue whilst taking the oil.
· Although he couldn't be more specific, he felt that he was "running very well" for that time of the year and season.
· He also felt more "well-nourished" when taking the oil, as "if he needed it." His appetite became more stable - no tendencies to over eat or eat too little - and he felt no need to eat less healthy foods such as meat and candy. Also, because the oil made him feel full and nourished, he ate smaller meals over all. However, he did admit to not having been eating that well in the period before entering the trial because he had just moved.
· Initially, he became very tired when he started taking the high dosage. He would be very tired in the morning when waking up. However, he was still able to train and perform at the same level and intensity despite the feeling of tiredness and fatigue. He also did put on a bit of weight during this period - 1 to 2 kg - but that came off again when he stopped feeling tired.
· The oil consistently triggers his digestive system, so that he has to go to the toilet after taking a dosage of the oil with a meal. Not that he gets diarrhea, but he just has a normal bowel movement triggered by taking the oil with a meal.

· Much faster recuperation after training sessions. She feels all recuperated in 20-30 minutes after practice. Before entering the trial, she would be dead tired after practice and aching and sore for about 1 hour afterwards. Now she feels as if she can do another training session again after 20-30 minutes.
· Increased energy-levels. Before, she'd be rather tired in the late afternoon after work and school, when she was about to train. That is not a problem any longer and she goes into the training sessions with lots of energy.
· Sleeps better and deeper. Also does not wake up so often during the night.
· Her skin improved, but that might also be due to the fact that she started becoming very conscious of sufficient hydration at the same time as the trial and thus drinking lots of water every day.

· Experienced improved energy levels in general and specifically in terms of athletic proves. During training sessions, the increase in energy-levels was most apparent when doing high-intensity aerobic exercises. She would not get winded as fast as before and hence was able to do these exercises with more intensity. Also, as a result of the increased energy-levels, she did not need as much sleep. Previously, she'd often need to take a nap in the afternoon after school and work in order not to feel tired for practice.
· The oil made her feel full, so her appetite decreased a bit.
· She did experience side-effects in the form of slight GI irritation. She'd pass more stools, they'd be of a softer consistency, and smell a bit more.

· Felt increased stamina, endurance, and energy-levels. This was most obvious when doing very intense and hard exercises during basketball training sessions. During these exercises, because she had more energy, the intensity of training was also improved.
· Did suffer from side-effects in the form of queasiness, upset stomach, diarrhea, and flatulence, that became worse as the dosage was increased. At one point, she went without the oil for a day and a half and the side-effects diminished. Hence, she went on the medium dosage for the last three weeks of the trial, and all her GI side-effects disappeared.
· Whilst suffering from the GI side-effects, she was ravenously hungry and put on weight. Three kg was her own estimate. Apparently, it was lean mass, because she could not find any increased body fat when examining herself and an extra three kg of fat ought to have slowed her down and prevented the above-mentioned improvements in athletic capability.
· After going off the oil again, she noticed that she did not sleep as well as while on the oil. This could suggest that the oil actually improved her sleep. She suggested that she might not have noticed the improvements in sleep because of the side-effects.
