The Effects of Essential Fatty Acids on Athletic Performance, General Well Being and Risk Factors for Cardiovascular Disease.
INDEX TO 7 MAJOR PARTS OF DANISH ATHLETE STUDY:
The Danish Athlete Study is comprised of seven main sections, two of which are reference charts containing graphs and tables. Please note - this is the Complete Study!
Each section is outlined and linked below:
PART 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE DANISH ATHLETE STUDY
Background information on the "who, how & where" of the study. Introduction to the project coordinator, Oscar Umahro Cadogan. Breakdown of the types of athletes that volunteered for the study.
PART 2: GENERAL EFFECTS & SIDE-EFFECTS; GRAPHICAL DATA
Breakdown of participants' dosing procedures; discussion of results in terms of athletic performance, improvement in inflammatory conditions, increases in lean mass, improvements in general well-being, improvement in mood & concentration and discussion of general side-effects. There is also a link-table to graphical data on all sets of side-effects.
PART 3: AN EXPLANATION OF THE MEASURED CARDIOVASULAR RISK FACTORS
This is a very informative overview of all the blood factors measured and chronicled as part of the study. For those without a physiology major, this is recommended reading! Covers measurements such as Fasting Glucose, Hemoglobin, Fibrinogen, Triglycerides, HDL & LDL cholesterol etc.
PART 4: HIGH DOSING WITH UDO'S OIL BLEND CHANGES CARDIOVASCULAR RISK FACTORS
In-depth measurements and discussion of the Cardiovascular Risk Factors discussed in Part 3. Tabular results of all blood constituents measured. Links to graphical data on CV RISK FACTORS.
PART 5: GRAPHICAL DATA ON CARDIOVASCULAR RISK FACTORS
These are reference graphs supporting the discussion in Part 4.
PART 6: SIXTY-ONE INDIVIDUAL CASE STUDIES:
PART 6A . . . PART 6B . . . PART 6C . . .
Part 6 is divided into three parts that comprise the 61 individual case studies. Participants are categorized according to gender, age, smoker/ non-smoker, sport, and/or activity, and observations are made regarding significant side effects in special cases such as the Type 2 Diabetics that joined the study. Tabular data is offered including baseline and post-supplementation measurements of blood constituents.
