Unrefined DHA: Udo uses the only DHA that is unrefined, so no deodorizing, bleaching or refining agents are used when making this oil.

Plant-sourced: Plant-sourced DHA in a blend of unrefined organic flax, sunflower, sesame and evening primrose seed oils – plus valuable, naturally occurring phytosterols.

2:1:1 omega ratio: Over time and with testing, Udo found the best ratio of omega-3, -6 and -9 is 2:1:1. More does not mean better. Too much omega-3 can result in omega-6 deficiency and disturb your body’s natural balance.

Unrefined GLA: Udo uses unrefined evening primrose oil instead of borage oil to provide omega-6 GLA in his formula. Unrefined borage contains naturally occurring toxins; to remove the toxins, borage oil must undergo refinement, disrupting the integrity of the GLA. Udo’s Oil™ only contains unrefined oils.
