Dr. Dünner Cynarol™

Natural cholesterol control. The all-natural artichoke juice concentrate in Cynarol™ has been proven to reduce high LDL cholesterol.

Your heart says to do something about your high cholesterol.

Your head says you'd rather not endure the side-effects of statin drugs.

Your blood tests indicate high cholesterol. That it’s time you did something about it. Change your diet. Increase your exercise. At the very least, start taking cholesterol-lowering medication.

One in two adults faces the same problem.

It's a dilemma.
Despite what your doctor tells you, despite the concerns of your family and friends, despite everything you've read and heard about cardiovascular disease, you've deliberately decided to do nothing about it.

The sacrifices might be worth it, but…

You feel okay!
It's not like you're enduring a ton of unpleasant symptoms – like chronic aches and pains – that make it inconvenient to get on with the rest of your life. In fact, it's just the opposite. Everything seems so totally normal.

Besides, you've heard bad things about statins.

It's not that you're being unreasonable. Just cautious!
It's well-documented; there are all kinds of potential side-effects from statin drugs. Some described as mild:

 Sneezing or other allergic reactions
 Skin rash
A decrease in sexual interest or ability
 Insomnia
 Constipation or diarrhea
 Dizziness
 Excessive gas or belching
 Headache
 Heartburn or indigestion
 Abdominal pain

Others that need to be reported immediately to your physician:

Muscle cramps, pain, swelling, weakness and/or stiffness
 Fever

 Dark urine
 Nausea and/or vomiting
Malaise (a general feeling of illness or discomfort)

There has to be a better answer!

As usual, nature offers an alternative.
Artichoke, a choleretic (a substance that increases the flow of bile) has been proven in a double-blind group study to reduce serum cholesterol and serum triglyceride concentrations significantly(1).

Artichoke is the principal ingredient in Cynarol.

Cynarol contains the full spectrum of artichoke's active ingredients in a highly concentrated form. Each 500mg capsule is equivalent to 5500mg of fresh artichoke. Dr. Dünner presses only fresh artichoke flower buds as they contain the highest concentration of active ingredients.

How the artichoke in Cynarol works.

The active compounds in artichoke increase the liver's production of bile three ways.

Initially, the liver converts some cholesterol into bile.

The bile is then released into the intestines where it aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat, which helps to further reduce cholesterol.

Finally, bile removes unneeded cholesterol from the body into the intestinal tract where it can be absorbed by soluble fibre and eliminated in the stool. (If the cholesterol is not removed in the stool, it returns to the bloodstream.) The artichoke extract also aids in digestion and relieves heartburn.

An increase in exercise and a change of diet are also recommended to help lower cholesterol, but …

Anything you can do to reduce high cholesterol is a positive.

No unpleasant side-effects!
No more excuses!
Cynarol is available at quality health food stores across Canada. There are no known serious side-effects. And no more excuses for putting off doing something about your high cholesterol.
