Dr. Cathy Carlson-Rink is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Registered Midwife in general family practice in Vancouver, British Columbia, specializing in women and children's health. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Physical Education, with a major in Health and Fitness and a minor in Physiology, through the University of Saskatchewan. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.), with a postgraduate specialization in Midwifery, from the prestigious Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Carlson-Rink is recognized across Canada as the first naturopathic physician also practicing as a midwife. She is a member of the B.C. Naturopathic Association, the College of Naturopathic Physicians of B.C., and the Canadian Naturopathic Association. She is also an instructor of Obstetrics and Pediatrics at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and provides continuing education for health care providers in natural treatments in the areas of obstetrics and pediatrics. |
